James Bond Style

Watch Bond

"Die Another Day" just came on the television.  I love the Bond movies, although there's no getting over Sean Connery being my favorite!  This is a character that exudes poise, grace, charm and confidence.  I've never been that kind of person.  I was the typical wall-flower at school dances (never had a date).  Being around a lot of people made me feel small and insignificant.  When you're poor and don't fit into the circles in school, this weighs down on a person and seems to carry on into adult life.

I would watch the "Bond" movies and think how wonderful it must be to have that type of personality, to gather admiration and respect from total strangers because of how you carried yourself and presented yourself to others.

Learn Bond

I know I'll never be like Bond, I'm a girl.  But, seriously, there's a lot to be learned there.  I am on a mission to build a successful business and I WILL DO IT!  So it's time to walk the walk and talk the talk.  I have the confidence to do this for the first time in my life.  I can't give all the credit to James Bond, though, he just reminded me of what success looks and sounds like.
I have to give credit where it's due.  David Wood and David Sharpe have made me see the potential in myself to which I am eternally grateful.  I saw so much of my own past in there stories of struggles.  That gave me the resolve to make a better way for myself and my family.

Do as Bond does

I must admit, I'm still working on the fine points of this, but progress is progress!  I have a motto:  every day when I get up, I stand a little taller, smile more about nothing in particular, and tell myself in the mirror that I'm worth it!  I can do anything I want and succeed!  I try to convince others to do the same because it makes such a difference in your views of yourself and everyone and everything around you.
Everyone should do the "Bond" thing...walk proud and stand firm!

Keep the Faith!
